This century-old duplex home in the heart of historic downtown Bessemer, AL is 15 minutes from downtown Birmingham and only 15 minutes from The Pupil of The Eye Cultural, Learning, & Visitor’s Center and community garden in the Sherman Heights neighborhood, Birmingham, AL..

 

The Pupil Place will accommodate out-of-town visitors when the Pupil Center is at capacity and will also serve as a new transitional home or temporary residence, for homefront pioneers planning to relocate to the Birmingham area.

The Pupil Place can accommodate homefront pioneers, travel teachers, and longer termed guests who plan to serve beyond a 7 day period.  All amenities match that of our Pupil Center & registration is open for Summer 2025 reservations.
